What We're About.

You're good enough to play – are you ready enough to stay? What matters now is whether you’re ready to stay and grow. Our community is here to support you through one of the most challenging and transformative seasons of your career: Year One. Through dedicated calls, workshops, mentoring, and a wealth of resources, we help you develop as a 360 athlete—mind, body, spirit, and purpose. Together, we’ll navigate this journey and unlock the fullest version of who you can become.

The 360 Athlete

The Athlete No One Saw Coming.

Stepping into your first year as a collegiate volleyball player is an exciting and transformative experience, where every challenge is an opportunity to grow. But just like any athlete, to truly thrive in the sport and in life, you need a well-rounded approach. That's where the 360 Athlete philosophy comes in.

The 360 Athlete approach is about developing not just your physical skills, but also your mental, emotional, and personal strength. It’s about recognizing that to become the best version of yourself, both on and off the court, you need to focus on Mind, Body, Spirit, and Purpose from day one.

Mind.

In Year One, the Mind focuses on developing a strong mental foundation. This includes learning how to stay focused in the moment, embracing growth, and developing mental skills. It’s about becoming resilient when challenges arise, whether on or off the court. Players learn to manage emotions, embrace challenges, and practice mindfulness, setting the stage for greater mental strength as they advance.

Body.

The Body in Year One emphasizes basic fitness, mobility, and injury prevention. At this stage, it’s crucial for athletes to focus on developing strength, conditioning, and agility, as well as understanding the importance of proper nutrition and recovery. Learning how to take care of the body sets the stage for future performance and ensures longevity in the sport.

Spirit.

The Spirit is all about finding motivation and purpose through volleyball. In Year One, players start to understand what drives them beyond competition—whether it's their love for the game, their commitment to teamwork, or the desire to overcome obstacles. The goal is to cultivate passion and develop resilience, learning to push through tough moments while staying grounded and connected to the joy of playing.

Purpose.

The Purpose focuses on setting a solid foundation for an athlete’s personal goals and values. In Year One, athletes start to explore their identity both as players and individuals, understanding that volleyball is just one part of who they are. They begin to develop a deeper connection to the sport and what it represents in their lives, from personal growth to community involvement. This sense of purpose becomes the anchor that helps guide them through both triumphs and setbacks.
